Every Third Sunday of the month, we offer an Introduction to Silent Worship. These sessions begin at 10:30 am, a 1/2 hour before our regular 11:00 am silent worship.

Join us to explore…

• The concept and basics of silent worship
  
• The spiritual underpinnings of why Quakers worship this way
  
• Practices you can use to help yourself “settle” into the silence
  
• What makes a “message” and how to discern when the light might be leading you to speak
  

If time permits, we'll wrap up with a Short Q&A. Afterwards we then join the larger 11:00 am Meeting for Worship.

All are welcome.

In addition to the conversation we hold on these topics, we invite any seasoned Quakers who might welcome an opportunity to reflect on our practice or to share their own experiences for discerning and seasoning a message.
